KOSHY,J.
This is a petition alleging police harassment. On
instructions, Govt.Pleader submitted that petitioner is a
registered rubber dealer. There is an allegation that he has
purchased stolen rubber sheets. Earlier there was a complaint
in the Manimala Police Station as Crime No.56/2007 and case
is that accused sold rubber sheets to the petitioner. It is case
of the petitioner that on the basis of that crime, the rubber
sheets were given to the police station. It is submitted that
there are further allegations on the same accused in another
case and police is only investigating the same. However, police
is free to investigate the crimes registered. Recording the

submission that investigation should be only according to law
this writ petition is disposed of.
