Heard
Mr. Samir B. Gohil, learned advocate for the petitioner. It is
submitted by him that the petitioner has been denied promotion as
Senior Assistant, whereas eight of his juniors have been promoted. It
is further submitted that the said denial of promotion purportedly
flows from the work record of the petitioner, as per the Confidential
Reports for the past three years, as communicated by impugned
communication dated 17.01.2011, whereas no adverse remarks have been
communicated to the petitioner during the past three years.

Notice,
returnable on 10.03.2011.

In
addition to the normal mode of Service, Direct Service for respondent
No.2 is also permitted.
