ORAL ORDER
Heard
Mr.K.B.Pujara, learned counsel for the petitioner, in each of the
petitions. It is submitted that the issues involved in the present
group of petitions are similar.
The
learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are
trained graduate teachers and have been working for a period of more
than 10 years in the Ashramshala run by respondent No.4 Trust,
after having undergone the due procedure of selection and
appointment. The salaries of the petitioners, which had earlier been
sanctioned and paid by the State Government throughout, have now been
stopped, as the State Government has refused to grant approval to the
appointments of the petitioners, as a result of which no salary has
been paid to them from August, 2010.
Notice,
in each of the petitions, returnable on 18.1.2011. Ms.Moxa
Thakkar, learned Assistant Government Pleader waives service of
notices on behalf of respondent No.1, in each of the petitions.
By
way of ad-interim relief, the respondents are directed to make the
payment of the arrears of salary of the petitioners, in each of the
petitions, within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a
copy of this order. It is further directed that the service
conditions of the petitioners, in all the petitions, shall not be
changed, till then.
A
copy of this order be provided to the learned Assistant Government
Pleader.
In
addition to the normal mode of service, direct service today, for the
rest of the respondents is also permitted.
