ORDER
The Commission has received a complaint dated 22.06.2010 from Mrs.
M. Jayarani Jain u/s 18 of the RTI Act, 2005, wherein he has complained to the
Commission that he had sought certain information from the PIO but he has not
received any response within the stipulated period under the RTI Act, 2005.
2. While enclosing a copy of the complaint, the PIO is hereby directed to
provide requisite information to the complainant in 03 weeks time as per the
provisions of the RTI Act, 2005.
3. Any failure on the part of the CPIO in complying with the order of the
Commission in the above mentioned time frame would render you liable for
penal action under Section 20(1) of the RTI Act, 2005.
4. You are also directed to send the following to the Commission by Speed
Post or dasti:
i) A copy of the information, if any, sent to the complainant;
ii) Your explanation for not supplying information to the complainant
within the stipulated time under RTI Act, 2005.
