                                                    ORDER

1. The Present petition dt.Nil registered on 18.7.11 at CIC  emanates from the non supply of information 

by the Public Authority in response to the RTI application filed by the Applicant on 8.4.11  with regard 

to an exam held in the year 1992 for the post of a driver.

2. During the hearing, the Respondents submitted that no records pertaining to 1992 are available and 

that it is not even known whether any exam for the post of a driver   was held in 1992. They also 

added that the Appellant had sought this information earlier in another RTI application and that he 

has already been informed that no information is available in this regard. 

3. The Commission after hearing the submission by the Respondents directs the PIO to provide an 

affidavit to the Commission with a copy to the Appellant stating that no records pertaining to 1992 

being sought by the Appellant are available.   The affidavit should reach the Commission/Appellant by 

29.9.11.

4. The appeal is disposed of with the above directions.
