2 29.6.2011 Petitioner is a retired employee of the Water

Resources Department who retired in the year 2001 from the post

of Dumper Operator. He lodged a claim for the benefit of ACP as

well as second time bound promotion as would be evident from

annexure-5 dated 4.10.2010. The claim of the petitioner has been

addressed to the Executive Engineer (Mechanical) Division

Birpur.

Petitioner has also brought evidence that other

similarly situated persons have been given such benefit but he has

been denied the same for no apparent reason.

Let the matter be looked into by respondent no. 5

within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of

production of a copy of this order and a decision taken and

communicated to the petitioner within the above time frame.

This writ application is disposed of with the above

direction.
