Sri K. R. Singh, learned Standing Counsel has filed an affidavit on behalf of
the opposite party along with an application praying for deferment of the
contempt proceedings till the disposal of the review application filed by the
State against the judgment of the learned Single Judge.
Learned counsel for the applicant has strongly opposed for deferment of the
present proceedings and has submitted that mere filing of the review
application would not preclude the Contempt Court for proceedings further in
the matter.
Having considered the submission of the learned counsel for the parties, list
this case on 6th September, 2010.
In the meantime it would be open to the opposite party to make an effort for
disposal of their review application, failing which Court would be compelled
to proceed further on the next date.
