Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.

It is stated that the appeal of petitioners under Section 11(1) of U.P.C.H.
Act is pending before Settlement Officer of Consolidation, Maharajganj-
respondent no.1.

In case, such appeal is still pending before respondent no.1, he is directed
to decide the same expeditiously after hearing the parties, preferably within a
period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this
order before him.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, writ petition stands
disposed of finally.
