Ex. Havaldar Ajit Singh vs Paramjit Sisngh Saini on 18 September, 2009
In the High Court for the States of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh
                                ...

COCP No. 52 of 2009(O&M)

Date of decision: September 18, 2009

Ex. Havaldar Ajit Singh .. Petitioners

Versus

Paramjit Sisngh Saini
..Respondent

Coram: Hon’ble Mr. Justice Rakesh Kumar Garg

Present: Mr. Munish Bhardwaj, Advocate
for the petitioner
Ms. Geeta Singhwal, Advocate
for the respondent

..

Rakesh Kumar Garg,J(Oral)

It is not in dispute that legal notice dated 2.6.2008 issued by the

petitioner has been disposed of by the respondent by passing an order and in

pursuant to that order, the respondent have also released the retiral benefits as

per their calculations and nothing remains to be paid now.

However, learned counsel for the petitioner disputes the aforesaid

stand taken by the respondent and states that still the petitioner has not been

granted any amount on account of pension gratuity and provident fund etc.

Be that as it may, since the Respondent has disposed of the legal

notice of the petitioner and has also paid the amount whatever was found due

according to them. I am not inclined to proceed further with this petition.

However, the petitioner is at liberty to seek any other alternative

remedy for redressal of his grievance in accordance with law.

Rule discharged.
