FACTS
:
The matter is called for hearing today dated 8.1.2010 through video
conferencing. Complainant not present. The public authority is
represented by the officer named above. Dr. Sivakumar would submit that
the complainant was called to his office and he mentioned that the RTI
application in question had not been filed by him. Dr. Sivakumar has also
sent a fax letter dated 7.1.2010 to the Commission, para 03 whereof is
reproduced below :-
“3. The questions were in the nature of voluminous and those of
in nature of unduly diverting the administrative resources and, thus,
in order to ascertain his genuineness of the request, he was called on
to this office. The applicant, in response to the letter, appeared on
10.12.2008 in person. During the enquiry, the applicant has
categorically deposed that the RTI application concerned was not at
all filed by himself and also stated that it is applied by some fake
persons fraudulently signing his signature as if he have signed.”
2. As the complainant has denied to have filed the RTI application , the
present appeal need not be decided by the Commission. Hence, the matter
is closed.
