The petitioner who had appeared at the All India Senior School
Certificate Examination 2010 conducted by the Central Board of
Secondary Education has filed this petition as she is not satisfied
with the marks awarded in Chemistry Theory Paper. In the said
paper the petitioner has been awarded 9 marks out of 70 marks and
the mark sheet mentions “Compartment” which means that the
petitioner can appear in the supplementary examination. The
petitioner appeared in the Compartment examination and has
cleared the examination.
Earlier, the petitioner had applied for verification of the marks
obtained in Chemistry Theory Paper but she was informed by the
Board that there is no change in the number.
There is no provision for re-evaluation of the answer book and,
therefore, it is not possible to accept the contention of learned
counsel for the petitioner for re-evaluation of the answer book.
No relief can, therefore, be granted to the petitioner.
The petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
