                          J U D G M E N T

Petitioners submit that they made applications to the

respondent Panchayat for licence for operating brick

manufacturing units. It is stated that despite having made the

applications, which are also stated to be accompanied by all

necessary documents, the applications are not considered. It is in

these circumstances the writ petition has been filed praying for a

direction to the Panchayat to expeditiously consider the

applications.

2. If as stated by the petitioners, they have made

applications, which are valid in all respects, there is no reason

why the same shall not be considered in accordance with law.

Therefore, this writ petition is disposed of directing that if

the petitioners have submitted applications for licenses, those

applications will be considered in accordance with law. Orders

thereon shall be passed as expeditiously as possible and at any

rate within four weeks from the date of production of a copy of

the judgment.
