The petitioners are general category candidates. They are
aggrieved by the Advertisement No.6/2009-2010 made by the U.P.
Public Service Commission advertising only reserved category
vacancies for the post of Medical Officers (Ayurvedic & Unani)
treating them as backlog vacancies. It is stated in the writ petition
that these vacancies were never notified earlier and thus they
cannot be treated as backlog vacancies.

Shri V.P. Singh is permitted to file impleadment application.

Learned counsel appearing for the Commission will seek
instructions in the matter.
