                             JUDGMENT

Petitioner is challenging the revenue recovery proceedings

initiated against him vide Exhibit P3 notice issued by second

respondent. Various contentions, legal and factual, have been

raised in this writ petition and this Court, intercepted all further

steps pursuant to Exhibit P3 for a period of two months, as per

interim order dated 6.11.2009, which was subsequently

extended by one month as per order dated 15.12.2009.

2. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the first

respondent submits on instructions, that a ‘Revenue Adalat’ is

being held at Thiruvananthapuram on the 24th February, 2010

and that the case of the petitioner, if he is so interested, will

definitely be taken up in the said proceedings and that the

impugned proceedings will not be given effect to till such time,

which course is stated as agreeable to the petitioner as well.

3. In the above facts and circumstances of the case, the

first respondent is hereby directed to cause the grievance of the

petitioner to be considered and finalised in the ‘Revenue Adalat’

by, if the petitioner files any petition in this regard before the

first respondent within two weeks from the date of receipt of a

copy of this judgment.

Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
