Though this writ petition was filed on 04.07.2006 and

defects have yet not been removed, however, learned

counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the parties

have since settled the matter relating to claim for

compensation under the Motor Vehicles Act; and as nothing

surviving in this writ petition, the petitioner does not want to

press the same.

This writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
