                           WP(C) No. 4867 of 2010
                        ---------------------------------------
Dated, this the 16th day of February, 2010

                                J U D G M E N T

Challenging Exts.P1 and P2 assessment orders, the petitioner has

already approached the statutory appellate authority by filing Exts.P3 and P4

appeals, along with Ext.P5 to condone the delay in filing the same and also

accompanied by Exts.P7 and P8 petitions for stay. The grievance of the

petitioner is that it is without any regard to the pendency of the said

proceedings, that the recovery steps are being pursued against the petitioner

and hence under challenge in this Writ Petition.

2. Heard the learned Government Pleader as well.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances, the 2nd respondent is

directed to consider and pass appropriate orders on Exts.P5 to P8 petitions,

in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within two

months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. It is made clear

that till such appropriate orders are passed on Exts.P5 to P8, all further

coercive proceedings stated as being pursued against the petitioner shall be

kept in abeyance.

The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
