Title: Need to extend help to the Government of Gujarat for availing financial assistance from the World Bank for taking up the “Urban Reform Project”.

SHRIMATI JAYABEN B. THAKKAR (VADODARA): Thank you, Sir, for permitting me to raise this very important matter relating to Gujarat Urban Reform Project.

            The Government of Gujarat has been pursuing an urban reform project to avail financial help from the World Bank.  The project was delayed due to one reason or the other. I urge upon the Central Government to assist in sorting out the issue at the earliest in order to avoid inordinate delay.
