Learned counsel for the appellant has placed reliance upon a judgment
delivered in FAFO No. 199 of 2001, United Bank of India vs. U.P. Power
Corpn. & others in which it has been held that UPSRTC is liable to pay
compensation and not the Insurance Company.

Till the next date of listing, the operation and implementation of the impugned
Award dated 09.11.2009, passed by Motor Accident Claim Tribunal in Claim
Petition No. 63 of 2007, Smt. Kalawati and others vs. Atri Pandey and others
shall remain stayed.
