The petitioner is doing her 4th semester in B.Tech at

Karpagam University, Coimbatore. The duration of course is

eight semesters. The petitioner appeared for the 1st and 2nd

semester examinations during June 2009. When the results of

the same were published, the petitioner failed in Humanities

Code-EAE 108). The petitioner applied for revaluation of the said

papers as per Exhibit P2. Exhibit P3 is the chalan receipt

evidencing payment of revaluation fee.

2. The main prayer in the writ petition is for a direction to

the respondents to consider Exhibit P1 application for revaluation

submitted by the petitioner and to publish the results within a

time frame. It is submitted that unless the revaluation result is

published at the earliest, the petitioner will not be able to pursue

her 5th semester course which is likely to commence in July 2010.
