Facts
:
1. The appellant has grievances regarding late arrival of a train, by about 15
minutes, on account of its detention by ticket checking squad. In this context, he has
sought to know the rules under which the train could be stopped for the above
purpose.
2. The CPIO has duly replied and clarified the issue raised by the appellant, who
is however not satisfied. Hence, this appeal before the Commission.
Decision:
3. The appellant has neither asked for information as per Section 2(f) of the Act
nor there is any denial of information u/s 8(1) of the Act. There are no provisions
under the Act for redressal of grievances of the customers of the respondent. This
appeal is, therefore, considered unnecessary and is thus disposed of.
