Learned counsel for the State has filed reply by way of affidavit of
Kirpal Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub-Division, Patti, District Tarn
Taran in court, wherein it is submitted that the alleged detenue Baaj Singh was
arrested on 15.7.2009 in FIR No. 118/09 dated 14.7.2009, registered under Section
395 IPC, at Police Station Patti, District Tarn Taran. He is in judicial custody.

Considering the aforesaid facts, the present petition has been
rendered infructuous and is dismissed as such.
