FACTS
:
The matter, in short, is that the appellant was required to be paid
compensation on resumed Bungalow No. 36, Theater Road, Barelli Cantt.
She also had claimed interest on late payment of the compensation amount.
It appears that the DGDE had informed her that the decision of MoD was
awaited. As she was not provided the requisite information she has filed
the present appeal.
2. Heard on 4.2.2010. Appellant not present. DGDE is represented by
the officer named above. It is the submission of Shri Negi that MoD had
decided to pay compensation to the appellant, less interest, in view of the
direction of the Supreme Court. He also submits that this has been duly
conveyed to the appellant vide their letter dated 25.5.2009
DECISION
3. It is, thus, seen that the requisite information has been provided to
the appellant. The Commission can not go into the issue of whether
interest on compensation amount is due to her or not. The matter is closed.
