02. 30.11.2010 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, for
the State and for the Bihar State Electricity Board.
The issue involved in this writ application
deals with alleged tampering of Meter leading to a
demand for payment of Rs.2,32,266/-. The submission
on behalf of the petitioner that there shall be a
distinction between tampering with the seal and
tampering of the Meter, the directions given by the
Board for down loading from the Computer chip in the
Meter for arriving at a decision with regard to alleged
tampering of the Meter etc, are matters discussed by
this Court in C.W.J.C. No. 1527 of 2010 disposed
today itself.
This application is therefore disposed with
similar directions including for deposit of 50% of the
dues containing similar directions of the manner in
which after the payment is made electric supply be

restored and thereafter on final adjudication be
adjusted/computed all to be done within a maximum
period of four weeks from the date of
receipt/production of a copy of this order as indicated
therein.
The application stands disposed with
directions.
