In view of the Division Bench decision of this Court in the case of Gayyur
Hasan and others Vs. State of U.P. and others reported in 2008(10) ADJ 575
(DB), the matter regarding providing of personal security is to be considered
by the High Level Committee. Therefore, this writ petition is disposed of on
the same terms and conditions as provided in the aforesaid judgment. The
petitioner’s representation alongwith a copy of the judgment in Gayyur
Hasan’s case with the consideration of the threat perception to be forwarded to
the State Government for consideration of the High Level Committee.
If the petitioner files a fresh representation alongwith a certified copy of this
judgment and the judgment in Gayyur Hasan’s case the required consideration
shall be made expeditiously and if possible within a period of one month from
the date of production of certified copy of this order in the office of the Senior
Superintendent of Police, Varanasi.
