                           J U D G M E N T

The petitioner herein is working as Upper Primary School Assistant

under the first respondent Manager. The petitioner, due to certain severe

gynecological disorders took leave for the period from 04/09/2007 to

15/10/2007. It is the case of the petitioner that she had enclosed necessary

certificates when leave application was submitted to the Headmaster. The

same was returned for certain defects. Even though the petitioner duly

complied with the directions of the Headmaster, it is pointed out that, no

further action was taken in the matter. Petitioner rejoined service on

16/10/2007 but the leave sought for has not been sanctioned. Ext.P4 is the

representation submitted by the petitioner to the Assistant Educational

Officer seeking to take appropriate action. The learned counsel for the

petitioner prayed that the said respondent may be directed to take a decision

on Ext.P4 within a time frame.

2. There will be a direction to the second respondent to consider

and pass orders on Ext.P4 in accordance with law after hearing the

date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

The writ petition is disposed of as above. No costs.
