Heard Sri Anurag Pathak, learned counsel for the petitioner and
learned Standing Counsel.
The petitioner was appointed as Lecturer of Geography on
10.08.1991. He is working, as such, since then and is said to be
the senior most teacher working at the institution.
By the impugned order dated 27.05.2010 passed by the Manager
of the Committee of Management of the Institution, his salary for
the month of May has been stopped.
The submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that
there is no reason for stopping the petitioner’s salary.
The aforesaid grievance of the petitioner can be examined by the
District Inspector of Schools.
In view of the above, I am not inclined to interfere in the matter at
this stage and the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the
petitioner to raise his above grievance before the District Inspector
of Schools by means of a representation within a period of two
weeks from today. In case, any such representation is made, the
District Inspector of Schools shall consider and decide the same
after verification of the records in accordance with law as
expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of one month
thereafter.
The petition is disposed of accordingly.
