The petitioners have prayed for promotion as Reader in the
Department of Zoology, School of Life Science, Khandari Campus
Dr. Bheem Rao Ambedkar University, Agra under the ‘Career
Advancement Scheme. It is alleged that the interviews are
scheduled on 14.7.2010 but that the petitioners eligible for
promotion have not been called for interviews.
Shri Sanjay Kumar Singh, learned counsel appearing for the
University states that the Selection Committee has been
constituted for promotion to the post of Professor but the interview
has been postponed. He would submit that the Selection
Committee has not yet been constituted for promotion to the post
of Reader under the Career Advancement Scheme and that the
interviews for promotion for Reader under Career Advancement
Scheme are not fixed on 14.7.2010.
Shri Sanjay Kumar Singh will file counter affidavit within two
weeks. The petitioner will have one week thereafter to file
rejoinder affidavit.
