Background
1. The Appellant filed an RTI application dt.3.6.08 with the CPIO, Dept. of Post,
New Delhi. He requested for information against 3 points. The CPIO
transferred the RTI application to Balia Division on 12.6.08. The Appellant
filed an appeal dt.25.6.08 with the Appellate Authority. The Appellate
Authority replied on 4.7.08. Not satisfied with the reply, the Appellant filed a
second appeal dt. 18.11.08 before CIC.
2. The Bench of Mrs. Annapurna Dixit, Information Commissioner, scheduled the
hearing on February 2, 2009.
3. The Respondent was not present during the hearing.
4. The Appellant was present at the hearing
Decision
5. The Commission directs the CPIO to provide the enquiry report sought after
severing under Section 10(1) of the RTI Act any portion exempt from
disclosure, within 15 days of the receipt of this Order.
6. The appeal is disposed off.
