Facts

:­ 

1. The   applicant     Shri   Deepak   Agarwal   sought 
information   vide   his   RTI   request   dated   2.5.2009   from 
CPIO, National Insurance Co. Ltd., Mumbai in respect of 
insurance  scheme filed by H.K. Impex (P) Ltd. for the 
period   2005­06     in   respect   of   Policy   No. 
250501/11/04/3100361.

2. The   CPIO   vide   his   response   of   6.6.2009   provided 
information   in   respect   of   most   points   but   did   not 
provide internal notings sought under Points – f & g of 
the application.   CPIO also informed that he was taken 
action   under   section   11   in   respect   of   point­h   of   the 
RTI application. 

3. Not   being   satisfied,   the   applicant   preferred 
appeal before the FAA dated 15.6.2009.  Vide  FAA order 
dated 10.9.2009, the CPIO was directed to provide full 
information free of cost to the applicant. 

4. However,   Shri   Agarwal   preferred   second   appeal 
before the Commission.

5. The matter was listed today before the Commission, 
meanwhile     we   have   received   letter   from   National 
Insurance Co. Ltd. and from the applicant stating that 
full information has been received by the appellant and 
that   the   appellant   does   not   wish   to   pursue   second 
appeal. 

Decision 

 6. In view of the above, the matter is closed at the 
Commission’s end.
