Facts
:
1. The case was scheduled for hearing on 26/3/2009. But, the appellant did
not avail of this opportunity.
2. In response to the RTI application, the CPIO has replied that the queries
made by the appellant are technical in nature. He has expressed his inability to
provide his opinion on the technical issues raised by the appellant. He also
stated that the information asked for are not available. Hence, it could not be
furnished.
Decision:
3. An information seeker is expected to seek information as per section 2(f)
of the Act, which requires that the information should be available in any material
form. He is not expected to seek views and opinion of the CPIO on any issue
