Background
1. The Applicant filed an RTI application dt.30.6.08 with the CPIO, BSNL,
Meerut. He requested for information against 2 points regarding
departmental bills raised as a result of use of office telephone given to one
Mr. M.K. Jain by GMTD BSNL, Meerut, at his residence. The PIO replied on
25.7.08 providing some information. Not satisfied with the reply, the
Applicant filed an appeal dt.25.9.08 with the Appellate Authority. The
Appellate Authority replied on 24.10.08. However, still not satisfied with the
reply, the applicant filed a second appeal No.5290 dt.4.12.08 before CIC
stating that the information provided is incomplete.
2. The Bench of Mrs. Annapurna Dixit, Information Commissioner, scheduled the
hearing for March 18, 2009.
3. The Public Authority was absent at the hearing.
4. The Applicant was present during the hearing.
Decision
5. The Appellant submitted that the complete information was provided to him
on 10.2.09 and that he has no complaint against the Respondents. Since all
the information has been provided, the appeal is disposed off.
