Information Sought:
1. That what are the work done by your Ministry for the development of the Hindi.
2. Details on the work done/the % of work, done in Hindi and what the work been done to maintain
Hindi as Base/State Language.
3. Provide documents on the development of Indian culture & Hindi, that your ministry had done.
4. Provide the manual copy of the citizen charter and ministry/department.
5. Provide the annual report of your ministry.
6. What are the work been done by your department for the Non Government Organization and press.
Provide the copy of the orders/ordinance related to the press and Non Govt. Org.
7. Provide in respect of application and index manner, that what are the facilities are provided by
your ministry to the Press/non Govt. Org.
8. Provide information about the financial aid given by your ministry to the Non Government
Organizations and press.
9. Provide copy of the application which issued by your ministry under the Advertisement Policy.
10. Provide the Telephone Guide of your ministry.
11. Provide the index of Public Sector Undertaking of your ministry.
12. Provide copy of the complaint prevention guide rules of your ministry.
13. Is the Tourism Ministry offers tour to the journalists in sake of development of tourism?
14. Is the Tourism Ministry provides passes to the religious tourist places, and free passes for the
Guest House in respect of the coverage of the journalists.
The PIO Reply:
The Ministry of Tourism releases its domestic advertisements in newspapers through DAVP and on
television/radio channels through DAVP, Doordarshan and All India Radio. In addition guidelines
have been framed for release of Print advertisement in publications which are not part of the media
plan of the Ministry (Copy Enclosed).
Advertising in international media is undertaken after following required procedures.
Empanelment of Agencies, if required is also undertaken after following the required tendering
process and there is no standard application from for empanelment. Procedures for submitting
application are detailed in the tenders, when issued.
It may be noted that the appellate authority in the Ministry of Tourism is Shri A.K. Gupta, Addl.
Director General, Ministry of Tourism, C-1, Hutments, Dalhousie Road, New Delhi.
Grounds for the First Appeal:
Unsatisfactory reply was given to the appellant by the PIO.
Order of the First Appellate Authority (FAA):
"As it is not clear from your appeal dated: 24/05/2011, that answers of which points are not given
to you, so it is prayed that mention all the points of your unsatisfaction."
