By means of present writ petition, the petitioner has challenged the transfer
order dated 17.06.1996.

This Court by means of order dated 10.09.1996 stayed the transfer order.
Since the transfer is an exigency of service and due to efflux of time, this writ
petition has become infructuous.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Interim order
stands discharged.
