Learned Standing Counsel has produced before the Court, a copy of the
Substitution Application received by him from the Office of Sri R.M. Saggi,
learned counsel for the applicants in the said Application.
Learned Standing Counsel points out that a perusal of the affidavit
accompanying the said Application shows that Surendra Pal Singh Sirohi
(petitioner) expired on 12.8.2004.
None has appeared on behalf of the applicants in the aforementioned
Substitution Application today.
In the circumstances, there is no option but to dismiss the Writ Petition for
want of prosecution.
The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed for want of prosecution.
Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
