Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Standing
Counsel.
The petitioners claim similar benefits as were extended to Ram
Narayan Srivastava and others in Writ Petition No. 3932 of
2004, decided on 13.09.2005. A similar direction was issued in
Writ Petition No. 20622 of 2006 against which an Special Appeal
filed by the State was dismissed on 24.08.2006 by the following
order :-
“We are in respectful agreement with the reasoning given, order
passed and the course proposed by Hon’ble Mr. Justice A.P.Sahi
on the 17th of April, 2006.
The appeal is dismissed.”
In view of the aforesaid position, this writ petition is disposed of
with a direction to the respondent No. 3 to pass an appropriate
order in the light of the observations made herein above, within
two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this
order before him to award the pay scale of Rs.4000/- to Rs.6000/-
to the petitioners.
No order as to costs.
