ORDER

On
a mention being made by the learned Government Pleader the matter is
taken up for consideration. The learned advocate for the petitioners
moves draft amendment, a copy of which is served to the learned
Assistant Government Pleader (AGP). The draft amendment is allowed.
The learned AGP wants to take instructions with regard to the
amendment.

2. The
learned Government Pleader places on record report showing the
‘action taken’ in the matter. The same is as under:

“1. 400
blankets have been provided to the hutment dwellers at the temporary
accommodation site at Gokulpura, Sector-14 on 8/12/2010.

2. Food
was provided to the temporary accommodation site on 8/12/2010.

3. Mandap/
Samiyana having size of 150 x 75 sq. feet along with electricity
halogen lights have been provided at the temporary accommodation
site.

4. Medical
teams with doctors and medicine have been sent to the temporary
accommodation site. Medical camps is also organised at temporary
accommodation site.

5. Two
mobile toilets units containing total twenty toilets have been kept
at the temporary accommodation site.

6. Milk
with biscuits has been provided today morning to the children of the
hutment dwellers. Tea is also provided at the temporary accommodation
site.

7. Police
security has also been provided at the temporary accommodation site.

8. Water
facility was provided to the hutment dwellers of the day of shifting.
Further 3 water standpost each containing 4 outlets have been
provided to the site yesterday afternoon and 3 sintex water tanks
(each of 1000 ltr.) have been also provided to the temporary
accommodation site.

9. Supplementary
nutrition is being provided to children & women through temporary
ICDS centre.

are submitted for kind perusal.”

The
learned Government Pleader also states that the Collector and the
Chief Engineer are personally present in the Court.

The
Court appreciates the promptness with which the authorities have
woken up to the call of the humanity and have extended the basic
requirements to the people who are disturbed in this unfavourable
season.

3. The
learned advocate for the petitioners and the learned Government
Pleader to sit together and work out the course of action in the
matter befitting to the problem, in consonance with the line of
action suggested by the orders of the Court. Adjourned to 14th
December 2010.
