Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 482 of the
Cr.P.C. is for issuance of a direction to respondents No.1 to 3 to protect the
life and liberty of the petitioners from respondent No. 4.
Petitioner No.1 has already moved a complaint before the
Senior Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur regarding threat to her life and
liberty and that of her husband from her parents and also for protecting the
same. Copy of the complaint is annexed as Annexure P-5
Without adverting to the merits of the controversy, the present
petition is disposed of with a direction to the Senior Superintendent of
Police, Hoshiarpur to take an appropriate action on the said complaint.
A copy of this order be given dasti to learned counsel for the
petitioners on payment of usual charges.
