Heard, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing
Counsel.
By this petition, petitioner has prayed for a mandamus directing
the respondents no. 2, 3 and 4 to make the payment of Rs.
1,61,008/-to the petitioner under S.G.R.Y Scheme.
Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the petitioner
was awarded contract and he has done certain work in the year
2007 under the said scheme.
Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the scheme under
which the payment is to be made has already been closed.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has already
submitted several applications for payment but the same has not
been paid.
We are of the view that the payment of contract is to be made in
accordance with the terms and conditions mentioned in the
contract. Petitioner has to take recourse to the said terms and
condition for claiming the payment with regard to the work
accomplished by him. We only observe that in case petitioner
takes recourse to the terms and condition of the contract, same
shall be considered expeditiously and disposed of by the
competent authority.
With the aforesaid observation writ petition stands disposed of.
