                                                 ORDER

Shri B.B. Sharma, Appellant had filed application dated 19.11.2009 seeking 
the following information under the RTI Act, 2005:­

“Subject of Information sought – Udyan Pandit Awards in 1985 and 2001.  
Please supply information on – Name of the fruit crops­fruit­wise+Yield of fruit­  
wise+Area where the fruit crops were grown for this award.”

Shri Brajendra Singh, Deputy Director/CAPIO, National Horticulture Board 
informed the Appellant that as far as the National Horticulture Board is concerned, 
it has not given any such Award during these years.  In his appeal filed before the 
commission, the Appellant submits that he has not received any reply from the 
FAA before whom he had filed a first appeal.

During   the   hearing   the   Respondent   submits   that,   in   fact,   the   FAA   had 
replied to the Appellant vide his letter dated 23.3.2010 through Speed Post.  The 
Respondent submits that they have made attempts to contact the Appellant by 
post and by telephone to find out specifically what further information he desires, 
besides the information provided by the Respondent, but have not been able to 
secure any further details from him.

After hearing the Respondent and on perusal of relevant documents on file, 
the   Commission   is   of   the   view   that   Respondent   have   provided   the   requisite 
information, available on record and permissible under the RTI Act, 2005 to the 
Appellant.

With   these   observations   the   mater   is   disposed   of   on   the   part   of   the 
Commission.
