ORDER
Background
1. The Applicant filed an RTI application dt.30.8.10 with the PIO, DRC, Raipur seeking information
against fifteen points with regard to LPT Rajhara such including the status of old fans which were
replaced with new ones in the rest room, the duties of employees in LPT in particular that of in
charge, expenses related to gardening around LPT etc. Shri Ramakant Bohare, PIO replied on
30.9.10 furnishing point wise information. The Applicant filed an appeal dt.11.10.10 with the
Appellate Authority stating that the information provided is incomplete and misleading. The
Appellate Authority replied on 9.11.10 providing further clarification. Being aggrieved with the reply,
the Applicant filed a second appeal dt.20.10.10 before CIC.
Decision
2. The Commission after hearing both sides, directs the PIO to allow the Appellant to inspect all the
relevant files related to the LPT (all issues raised in the Appellant’s RTI Application) on a mutually
convenient date and time and to provide him with attested copies of documents required by him, free
of cost. The entire exercise to be completed by 2.6.11 and the Appellant to submit a compliance
report to the Commission by 9.6.11.
3. The appeal is disposed of with the above directions.
