                  -----------------------------------
                Bail Application No.2168 of 2008
                   ----------------------------------
Dated this the 23rd day of May 2008

                              O R D E R

In this petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C., the

petitioners seek anticipatory bail on the allegation that the

Balussery police are at their heels in connection with Crime

No.182/2008 registered for offences punishable under Sections

143, 147, 448 and 353 read with Section 149 IPC. As per the

interim order dated 7.4.2008, this Court granted anticipatory bail

to petitioners 1 to 3, who are respectively accused Nos.2, 3 and

1.

2. The learned Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted

that petitioners 4 to 9 are not yet arrayed as accused in the

above crime so far. If so, the apprehension of arrest and

harassment entertained by the petitioners 4 to 9 is unfounded. In

case petitioners 4 to 9 are arrayed as accused, they have

undoubtedly the right to approach the appropriate court and

seek appropriate reliefs. Sustaining the earlier order granting

anticipatory bail to petitioners 1 to 3 and reserving the above

right of petitioners 4 to 9, this petition is disposed of.
