Background

The RTI Application dated 25.6.10 was filed by the Applicant with the PIO, AIR, New Delhi seeking 

copies   of   various   rules,   copy   of   manual   etc.     The   PIO,   DG   AIR   replied   on   16.7.10   providing 

information against points 3(a) & 3(b).   The Applicant filed his first appeal on 30.7.10 seeking the 

missing information.   On not receiving any reply from the Appellate Authority,  he  filed his second 

appeal with the Commission on 6.9.10.  

Decision   

2. During the hearing the Respondent provided the information against points 1 & 2 to the Appellant in 

the presence of the Commissioner.  With respect to  point 3 (c) the Commission directs the PIO to 

also provide the copy of the comments on the letter dated 30.3.10 to the Appellant.  This information 

may be provided to the Appellant by 31st January, 2011.  The appeal is accordingly disposed of.
