J U D G M E N T
Petitioner is working as Panchayat Secretary, and is governed
by the Kerala Panchayat Subordinate Service Rules. He filed this writ
petition complaining of delay in the matter of promotion to the post
of Junior Superintendent. According to the petitioner, overlooking
his claim, his juniors were promoted. It is thereupon the writ
petition has been filed.
2. Learned Government Pleader, on instructions, submits
that during the pendency of the writ petition, by order dated
28/07/2010, the petitioner has already been promoted to the
higher post of Junior Superintendent.
I record the submission and close the writ petition leaving it
open to the petitioner to agitate his claim for seniority and other
benefits independently.
This writ petition is accordingly closed.
