                                     JUDGMENT

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the

Board and the learned Government Pleader.

2. Petitioner seeks permission to pay the amount in

instalments.

The writ petition is disposed of permitting the petitioner to pay

the amount in six equal monthly instalments, the first of which shall be

payable on or before 1.1.2009 and the further instalments on or before the

first working day of the succeeding months. If the petitioner does not pay

any single instalment, the petitioner will lose the benefit of this judgment

and it is open to the respondents to proceed against the petitioner in

accordance with law.
