Petitions are for bail.

2. The alleged offences are under Sections 2(2), 16, 13(1a),

33, 36, 37, 9, 39(1a), (b) (d), 2, 3(a) (b), 49(A) (a) (b), 49(B), 50

and 51(1A) of the Wild Life Protection Act. Petitioners are

accused nos. 3 and 5 in the crime. According to prosecution,

accused nos. 1 to 5 were found in possession of two leopard skins

and they were arrested on 11.05.2010. The contraband articles

were seized from their possession.

3. Learned counsel for petitioners submitted that petitioners

are in custody for the past 34 days. Learned Public Prosecutor

submitted that considering the stage of investigation, this petition

is not opposed, but conditions may be imposed.

4. On hearing both sides, I am satisfied that bail can be

granted on conditions. Hence the following order is passed:

Petitioners shall be released on bail on their

executing bond for Rs.50,000/- each with two

solvent sureties each for the like sum to the

satisfaction of the Magistrate Court concerned on

the following conditions:

i) Petitioners shall appear before the
Investigating Officer on every Monday,
Wednesday and Saturday, between 10
A.M. and 1 P.M., until further orders.

ii) Petitioners shall not influence or intimidate
any witness or tamper with the evidence.

iii) In case, petitioners are involved in any
similar offence, bail is liable to be
cancelled.

These petitions are allowed.
