Background
1. The RTI Application dated 5.2.10 was filed by the Applicant with the PIO, University of Delhi seeking
copy of reply from UGC with regard to a letter communicated by the Registrar dated 29.7.08 as also
details of provision under which after 19932009, the funds are being used by DU against the
salaries of Library Clerks. The CPIO on 17.2.10 enclosed the information provided by the Asstt.
Registrar (Estt.) pertaining to non teaching staff and also the information as provided by the
University Librarian. Not satisfied with this reply, the Applicant filed his first appeal on 8.3.10 stating
that information is incomplete. The CPIO replied on 9.4.10 enclosing the reply order of the Registrar
cum Appellate Authority dated 8.4.10 who in his Order stated that all available information has been
provided to the Applicant by the PIO as made available by the Deemed PIOs. He also pointed out
that the Applicant has not mentioned any specific deficiency in the reply of the PIO. Being aggrieved
with this reply the Applicant filed his second appeal on 7.5.10 with the Commission seeking the
information once again.
Decision
2. The Commission on perusal of the submissions on record and after hearing the Respondents noted
that the information against point 1 has been provided and with regard to point 2, the required
information was provided by the University Librarian along with the relevant file notings which were
dated 10.2.10 . The Commission, therefore, holds that all the available information has been
furnished to the Appellant and disposes of the appeal accordingly.
