THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF CHEMICALS AND FERTILIZERS AND MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF PARLIAMENTARY AFFAIRS (SHRI B.K. HANDIQUE) : Sir, with your permission, I rise to announce that Government Business during the week commencing Monday, the 10th of March, 2008, will consist of:-

1. Need to establish a new Flag Station at Medical College Hospital at Vandanam, Alappuzha District, Kerala State along Alappuzha-Kayamkulam Railway line;
2. Need to provide funds for the construction of Two Rail Over Bridges along Alappuzha Bye-Pass of NH-47.[R1]
श्री बची सिंह रावत ‘बचदा’ (अल्मोड़ा) : महोदय, कृपया आगामी सप्ताह की कार्यसूची में निम्नलिखित विषय सम्मिलित किये जाएं –
1. देश के संपूर्ण हिमालयी क्षेत्र, विशेषकर उत्तराखंड के पर्वतीय क्षेत्र को इसकी दुर्गमता, कठिन भौगोलिक परिस्थिति व आर्थिक पिछड़ेपन के आधार पर अत्यंत पिछड़ा क्षेत्र घोषित किये जाने की आवश्यकता।
2. देश के समस्त पर्वतीय भू-भाग में सार्वजनिक सड़क, पेयजल, सिंचाई, नहर, विद्युतीकरण, विद्यालय व चिकित्सा भवनों आदि के निर्माण पर वन संरक्षण अधिनियम 1980 के प्रावधानों के कारण कार्य ठप्प रहने से, इन सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के सरकारी निर्माण कार्यों को इस अधिनियम से छूट प्रदान किये जाने की आवश्यकता।
श्री हंसराज गं. अहीर (चन्द्रपुर) : महोदय, निम्नलिखित मामलों को अगले सप्ताह की कार्यसूची में शामिल करें:
1. केन्द्र सरकार द्वारा सीमान्त तथा छोटे किसानों की ऋणमुक्ति के बाद जो किसान महाजनों तथा साहूकारों की गिरफ्त में फंसे हैं, उन सभी किसानों को महाजनों तथा साहूकारों के ऋण से मुक्त कराने के लिए सरकार तत्काल प्रभावी कदम उठाने की कार्रवाई करे।
2. केन्द्र सरकार द्वारा पारित वनभूमि मान्यता अधिकार विधेयक पारित होने के बाद भी आज की तारीख तक वनवासियों को पट्टे देने की कार्रवाई शुरू नहीं की गई। अतः सरकार इसका गंभीर संज्ञान लेकर पट्टे देने की कार्रवाई शुरू करने पर ध्यान दे।
SHRI N.N. KRISHNADAS (PALGHAT): The following items may be included in the next week’s agenda:-
(1) The foodgrains quota to Kerala State has been drastically reduced. Eighty two per cent of the quota has been reduced. This situation has created serious foodgrains shortage and price hike in the State. So, this quota may be restored at the earliest.
(2) A survey report has been made by Indian Railway to construct a new Railway line from Kollengode to Trichur in Palghat Division of Southern Railway. But the construction is yet to be started. So sufficient funds may be included in the Budget for its construction.
डॉ. सत्यनारायण जटिया (उज्जैन): मान्यवर, कृपया आगामी सप्ताह की कार्यसूची में निम्नलिखित दो विषय सम्मिलित करें।
1. देश में बढ़ती हुई महंगाई के कारण आम उपभोक्ता परेशान हैं। बढ़ते खाद्यान्न, तेल, चीनी, खाद्य वस्तुं तथा कुकिंग गैस के मूल्य एवं अभाव की स्थिति को दूर करने के लिए केन्द्र सरकार प्रभावी उपाय करे।
2. देश में ग्रामीण एवं नगरीय क्षेत्रों में शुद्ध पेयजल उपलब्ध कराने के लिए तथा अभावग्रस्त क्षेत्रों में पेयजल सुविधा के लिए केन्द्र सरकार राज्यों को पर्याप्त पूर्ण अनुदान सहायता करें।
DR. VALLABHBHAI KATHIRIA (RAJKOT): The following items may be included in the next week’s agenda:-
(1) Discussion regarding policy for secondary and higher education alongwith technical faculties looking into the urgent need for job-oriented entrepreneurship development for the youth.
(2) Discussion regarding water harvesting, water conservation and management throughout the country considering urgent fall in the ground-water level and shortage of water for irrigation and other purposes.
श्री गिरधारी लाल भार्गव (जयपुर) : महोदय, संसद की आगामी सप्ताह की कार्यसूची में निम्नलिखित विषयों को सम्मिलित किया जाए।
1. जयपुर में पुरानी वाटर लाइन को बदलकर नई वाटर लाइन डालने हेतु आर्थिक पैकेज की आवश्यकता।
2. जयपुर में कच्ची बस्तियों को व्यवस्थित रूप से बसाने हेतु आर्थिक पैकेज की आवश्यकता।

DR. KARAN SINGH YADAV (ALWAR): The following items may be included in the next week’s agenda:-
(1) Need to expedite the legal and other administrative process to implement reservation of OBC students in AIIMS, IIMs and other Central institutions and universities.
(2) To give reservation to OBC students in CPMT (Central Premedical Test).
श्री शैलेन्द्र कुमार (चायल) : महोदय, निम्नलिखित विषयों को आगामी सप्ताह की कार्य-सूची में सामिल किया जाए।
1. देश में राष्ट्रीय ग्रामीण रोज़गार गारंटी योजना की वृहद् जांच हो क्योंकि उसमें भारी पैमाने पर धन का दुरुपयोग हुआ है। लोगों के जाब कार्ड न बनाए जाने की शिकायत है। उन्हें 100 दिन का रोज़गार नहीं दिया गया है।
2. देश में एल.आई.सी. अधिकारियों एवं कर्मियों के साथ भेदभाव हो रहा है। उन्हें प्रमोशन एवं वेतन के साथ ही मानदेय विसंगतियों के कारण न्याय नहीं मिल पा रहा है।
