        The Appellant was present along with Shri Johri.

        No one was present on behalf of the Respondent.

2. In this case, the Appellant had requested the CPIO for three pieces of 

information  regarding  Shri   G.P.   Sharma,  Senior  Branch  Manager,  Mainpuri. 

The CPIO declined to disclose the information by claiming exemption under 

Section   8(1)(j)   of   the   Right   to   Information   (RTI)   Act.     The   Appellant   had 

preferred an appeal against this.  The Appellate Authority dismissed the appeal 

finding no merit in it.   Consequently, the Appellant is here before the Central 

Information Commission in second appeal.

3. We   heard   the   case   through   videoconferencing.     The   Appellant   was 

present in the Mainpuri Studio of the NIC.  The Respondents were not present

in spite of notice.  After hearing the submissions of the Appellant and carefully 

examining the RTI­application, we do not find any reason to classify the desired 

information as personal at all.  Therefore, we direct the CPIO to provide to the 

Appellant within 10 working days from the receipt of this order the following 

three pieces of information:­

(i) Copy of the transfer order of Shri G.P. Sharma, if any, from Mainpuri 

Branch in 2008;

(ii) copy of the stay order, if any, of the above transfer order; and

(iii) copy of the undertaking, if any, given by Shri G.P. Sharma for the 

stay of the above transfer.

4. With the above direction, the appeal is disposed off.  

5. Copies of this order be given free of cost to the parties.
