CORAM: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE
AND
HONOURABLE MR JUSTICE JYOTI SARAN
ORAL ORDER
(Per : HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE)
2
2. 13.09.2010. This Appeal under Clause 10 of the Letters
Patent is preferred only to the extent that the appellant B.R.
Ambedkar Bihar University has been granted ten days’
time to grant affiliation to the writ petitioner Chaurasiya
Raj Kishore College, Hajipur.
Learned Senior Advocate Mr Ram Balak Mahto
has appeared for the appellant – University. He has
submitted that all that the University prays for is extension
of time because the required formalities cannot be
completed within ten days specified by the learned single
Judge.
We are of the opinion that Letters Patent Appeal
for extension of time would not lie. The party may
approach the learned single Judge for extension of time.
