ORDER
Background
1. The RTI Application dated 23.11.2010 was filed by the Applicant with the PIO, DRM Office,
Samastipur. He sought information related to ‘office timings’ against 8 points. The PIO replied on
10.12.10 providing point wise information. The Appellate Authority replied on 22.2.11 to the first
appeal dated 23.12.10 informing the Applicant that the information has already been provided to him
on 31.1.11. He also sent related documents in response to other points. Not satisfied with this reply
the Applicant filed his second appeal before the Commission seeking information with regard to
points 5, 6 and 8.
Decision.
2. With regard to points 5 and 6 the Respondent submitted that the relevant Railway letter that was
received from the Railway Board mentioning the amendments as given in the Rly. Board’s circular
was furnished to the Appellant. The Appellant however sought the Railway Board’s circular giving
amendments. The Commission therefore directs the PIO to provide a copy of this circular to the
Appellant. With regard to point 8 the Appellant sought order by which the office timings are being
followed. A copy of such an order, if available on record may also be provided to the Appellant.
Information to be provided by 10 September, 2011.
3. The Appeal is accordingly disposed off.
